Nordic was established in 1983 and has about 1450 employees across the globe. Our award-winning Bluetooth Low Energy solutions pioneered ultra-low power wireless, making us the global market leader. Our technology range was later supplemented by ANT+, Thread and Zigbee, and in 2018 we launched our low power, compact LTE-M/NB-IoT cellular IoT solutions to extend the penetration of the IoT. The Nordic portfolio was further complemented by Wi-Fi technology in 2021.
The Role: As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our network practices. Your role will involve hands-on project execution, strategic leadership in network development, continuous optimization, and potential progression to a Team Lead position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of network infrastructure projects with a focus on innovation and optimization.
- Spearhead the development of network strategies that align with our vision for growth.
- Oversee the migration, upgrade, and optimization of network systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance network efficiency and security.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to support network-related requirments and initiatives.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Prepare to step into a Team Lead role, where you will manage a team of network engineers and drive major initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto networks, or similar.
- Demonstrated leadership in network infrastructure projects and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in network optimization techniques and best practices.
